The Kerala State film awards 2018 has been announced.  Pauly Valsan won 2017 state award – Best character actress – Pauly Valsan ( Best character actress – Pauly Valsan (Ee Ma Au) ) with her outstanding performance in the film Ee Ma Au and Ottamuri Velicham. She is well known for her natural and realistic characters in many new Malayalam movies. This award will be a motivation for many second line Malayalam actress and actors to show up their face to main stream Malayalam movies. Winners are given below:
